Biography
Sanaa Hobeichi has a multi-disciplinary background in climate science, environmental science, mathematics and computer Science. She received her PhD in climate science from the Climate Change Research Centre at the University of New South Wales Sydney, and she is a research associate at the same centre. Sanaa is interested in integrating the science of climate change into the maths curriculum. She also has a great passion to encourage female high school students to choose STEM career paths. Sanaa is an accredited teacher with many years of experience in teaching the International Baccalaureate Mathematics. She participated in the education reform in the state of Qatar and contributed to the development of the Maths curriculum.
