Biography
Rajni Verma is currently a McKenzie Postdoctoral Fellow in School of Physics at The University of Melbourne. She completed her B.S and M.S. from University of Delhi, India. She obtained her PhD from CSIR-National Physical Laboratory, India in the year 2018. She then worked as postdoctoral fellow at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD) for few months before joining The University of Melbourne in June, 2019. Her research activities include utilization of nanomaterials and nanocomposites for optical and biological applications. Recently, She is working on non-invasive optical tracking of fluorescent nanomaterials inside cells (in-vitro and in-vivo) without using chemical tagging. She is working in collaboration with RMIT University and other universities worldwide. She is also contributing in reviewing papers for esteemed Royal Society of Chemistry and MDPI journals.
