Biography
Philippa is a Technical Officer at the National Seedbank in the Australian National Botanic Gardens (ANBG). Her work focuses on understanding the germination requirements and viability of seeds collected for, and stored by, the ANBG. She is also in the final year of her PhD where her studies focused on finding the point of vulnerability in a plant's lifecycle to heat stress, with an emphasis in seeds.
She also has a strong interest in science communication, community outreach, and teaching children and teenagers about the wonders of science.
