Biography
My broad research interest is in plant epigenetics, evolution, and bioinformatics analysis. In my PhD project, I am interested in understanding more about RNA modifications and their roles in RNA processing in model plant organism, Arabidopsis thaliana - in particular, small RNAs. In plants, both RNA modifications and small RNAs have shown to regulate plant stress responses. My research aim is to help understand and discover these modifications, particularly their roles in small RNA biogenesis. I hope my research will help elucidate the importance of fine-tuned regulation by RNA modifications in the small RNA world in plant development.
