About me: I am an early career researcher in the digital health/social media/information systems domain. My PhD thesis applied a multiple case study to examine social media technologies (Facebook, Reddit, YouTube and Instagram) with a mixed-methods approach to provide an integrated model that explains how and why adults with chronic illness appropriate social media to better understand and self-manage their chronic illness. I am familiar with and have used qualitative, quantitative and digital research approaches (such as topic modelling and sentiment analysis with python) in my previous research projects such as for my PhD project and my master’s degree.
