Biography
Natalie Trevaskis is a Pharmacist and Senior Lecturer in Drug Delivery, Disposition and Dynamics at the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Her research program focuses on the role of lymphatics in inflammatory and metabolic diseases, and lymph-targeted therapies to more effectively treat these diseases. Natalie’s program has been funded by NHMRC, New Zealand HRC, Monash University and the Collier Foundation, and resulted in 40+ peer reviewed papers (>3000 cites) including significant reviews in Nature Rev Drug Discovery (x2) and Pharmacological Reviews. In 2015 she was awarded the AK McIntyre award from the Australian Physiological Society for her early career work and was the recipient of the Mollie Holman Doctoral Medal for thesis excellence.
