Biography

I am a fluid mechanics expert with a particular interest in turbulence, mixing and transport in complex systems (in both steady and wave-driven flows). In particular, I have experience in open channel hydraulics, coastal processes, vertical transport rates, wave-current interactions and physical modeling of natural systems. I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Oceans Graduate School at the University of Western Australia.  I seek to support female students to develop a broader understanding of maths and physics, and to encourage them to consider engineering as a career.
