Biography

I am a neuroendocrinology and neuroimmunology researcher, with approximately 7 years experience post-PhD. My research focuses on the focuses on understanding the neuroimmune and neuroendocrine mediators of health challenges in the context of immune activation, obesity and stress. I have more than 50 career publications, including journal articles, book chapters and opinion articles. I am a passionate advocate for psychoneuroimmunology research, a long-time member of the Psychoneuroimmunology Research Society (www.pnirs.org) and a Chair of PNIRS Communications committee
