Biography

Jess is self-confessed regulation nerd, and loves digging into the technical, practical and regulatory nexus of an environmental issue: how science can inform policy and regulatory decisions. Her work focuses on achieving the best possible technical and regulatory outcomes for community, business and regulators. Jess loves nothing more than digging through regulatory controls, science and environmental management strategies to find practical and sustainable solutions to problems. In addition she has a solid technical background in soils (PhD thesis), waste, organic amendments, agriculture, and land rehabilitation/restoration.

Jess also has a passion for education, communication, open and accessible science. Great science is done through collaboration, listening and thinking. By working together we can solve real problems.
