Biography
I completed my Bachelors degree in Physics and Applied Mathematics as a mature aged student. Following my degree I enrolled in a Masters of Medical Physics, which I am currently completing.
In the past five years I have been heavily involved in Science Education and Outreach (both personal outreach activities and with OzGrav (ARC Centre of Excellence for Gravitational Wave Discovery). I spent my undergraduate years as a research assistant in the Astrophysics and Supercomputing department at university, giving me a wide range of experience in the computing and technical side of science (mainly astrophysics). Pre-Covid I was a program manager for a Space School which took Australian students to NASA twice a year.
Currently I work in Medical Physics conducting Compliance Testing and radiation safety, as well as offer tutoring services for Neurodiverse students in Science and Mathematics.
Jacqueline identifies as neurodiverse.
