Biography
Dr. Jacinda Ginges is an Australian Research Council Future Fellow and Senior Lecturer in the School of Mathematics and Physics at The University of Queensland. Her research is directed towards precision atomic tests of fundamental physics. Dr. Ginges' research involves development of high-precision methods for atoms with many electrons. Her areas of expertise include precision tests of the standard model of particle physics and searches for possible new physics beyond, complementing new physics searches at the highest-energy particle colliders on Earth.
Research interests:
* Atomic theory
* Many-body theory
* Quantum electrodynamics
* Violations of fundamental symmetries (parity, time)
* Precision tests of the standard model of particle physics
* Superheavy elements
