Biography

Holly Bridgwater is an exploration geologist, crowdsourcing lead at Unearthed, and an advocate for adoption of open data initiatives. Most recently, Holly delivered Australia’s largest open data crowdsourcing competition, the Explorer Challenge.

Having previously worked for a decade as a geologist in resource exploration and definition, Holly believes that leveraging open data and crowdsourcing initiatives can transform mineral exploration and increase discovery rates of critical metals.

More generally, Holly works with leaders across the resources sector to enable them to identify and articulate challenges they need innovative solutions for, and source these solutions from a diverse global community of experts and talent.
