Biography

I am a young scientist with a keen interest in understanding the nature of the universe. My scientific career began at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), where I undertook a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Physics with minors in Astrophysics and Earth Science. I then completed my MPhil at QUT, where I studied and discovered new distant groupings of galaxies using the ZFOURGE survey. I am also the first postgraduate student and alumnus of the QUT Astrophysics Research Group. In addition to research, I enjoy sharing my work with scientific and non-scientific communities via media and talks, teaching and supervising undergraduate students, and collaborating with Astrophysicists in other universities. Currently, I am a PhD Candidate at The University of Queensland (UQ; Astrophysics Group), studying the chemical content/metallicity evolution of local and distant galaxies.
