Biography
As the Deputy Director at Bendigo Tech School, my journey spanning over two decades as a Scientist, STEAM educator and Lecturer in Education has been marked by challenges and successes in fields traditionally dominated by men. My deepest passion lies in creating engaging, accessible, equitable, and sustainable opportunities in STEAM education. Through innovative methods, I am dedicated to transforming education into an inclusive and inspiring experience.
My commitment to education and gender equity is at the core of my advocacy for women in STEAM. Driven by the transformative power of representation and diversity, I work to elevate women in science. My goal is to shape a future where young girls can see themselves in scientific roles, empowered to reach their highest potential. This mission goes beyond personal empowerment; it's about enhancing the collective creativity and impact of scientific pursuits through diverse and inclusive participation.
I firmly believe that empowering women in STEAM isn't just about breaking barriers; it's about rewriting the narrative of possibility for every girl with a dream and a curious mind.
