Biography
Elise is a marine biologist whose research sees her crossing the oceans of Australia, looking at the sources, fates, and food-web interactions of microplastic pollution. She is a PhD candidate at Flinders University in the Leterme Laboratory. Her passion? Preserving our marine wonderland, one tiny plastic particle at a time. Elise is on a mission to make the ocean sparkle, minus the plastic glimmer! Her dedication to preserving the marine ecosystem extends beyond the lab, as she enjoys exploring the treasures of the deep blue and chasing waves. Elise is committed to advancing our understanding of sustainable practices and marine conservation.
