Biography

I am passionate and enthusiastic mechanical and aerospace engineer working to train and inspire future generations of innovative engineers. I am excited about all things engineering, but my true passion is aerospace engineering including high speed atmospheric and reentry flight, and how we can better understand the heating and fluid - vehicle interactions when travelling at high speed. I enjoy bringing this passion to educating our future STEM leaders, and have over 11 years’ experience in the higher education sector. My other great passion is promoting, enhancing and supporting gender equity in STEM and particularly aerospace related areas, and co-chair UNSW Canberra's YoWIE (Young Women In Engineering) program, chair the Women in Fluid Mechanics sub-committee and am a STA Superstar of STEM.
