Biography

Anne Bettens holds her Professional Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Sydney and is currently pursuing a PhD there in this field. Her present research focus is on Vision-based Autonomous Navigation of Robotic Craft for Space Exploration. Anne earned her undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Western Australia and since then has worked at a private helicopter company and hopes to achieve her commercial pilot’s licence. She is passionate about STEM education and is actively involved in many outreach programs.
