Biography
Everyone has the right to feel comfortable in their own skin. I believe this is achieved through developing a positive relationship with food and the body. As an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) I am passionate about empowering clients to experience food freedom, body acceptance and joyful movement. I do this using a non-diet, weight-neutral approach. This passion extends into my research which explores the dietitian’s role in eating disorders in primary care.
I am a PhD Candidate at Griffith University with the Healthy Primary Care team, a mentor to final year dietetics students, and an APD at Griffith Health Clinics with a particular interest in Eating Disorders and disordered eating. I am also the Secretary of the Mental Health Interest Group for the DAA.
